The Barriere Secondary Graduation Class of 2024 didn't let a few rain clouds detour their parade plans on June 15 as they waved from cars, trucks and even team driven wagons through town. The graduates were on their way to a memorable evening dressed in their best for a formal dinner at the Barriere Curling Arena located at the North Thompson Fall Fair Grounds.
Families, friends, neighbours and locals gathered to cheer the graduates on as they travelled through the streets of Barriere, many prepared with umbrellas hoping to stay dry while many called out "congratulations" along the way.
