No signs of any other occupants in the vehicle and no signs of intoxication.
On Oct. 25 Barriere RCMP received a call from the B.C. Conservation Service advising that there was a deer that had been hit by a car in Barriere. Police attended and spoke to the complainant who advised that there was a deer with health issues living in their yard. The deer had not suffered an injury significant enough to require putting it down by police. Conservation was advised of the same.
The Barriere RCMP responded to over 20 additional calls for service.
Police will attend to dispatch a deer that was hit by a car and sustained injuries. Please call 911 in that case.
