A great turnout for the Barriere Fire Department Open House on Thursday, Oct. 12 with about 75 people coming through the firehall.
There were some hands-on stations set up for people of all ages to learn how to use the Jaws of Life, how to spray water from a hose and how to use a fire extinguisher.
Kids enjoyed the fire truck rides and games, while families learning about fire prevention and watched demonstrations.
Free carbon monoxide and smoke detectors were given out along with refreshments.
Thanks to all who attended!
