(L-r) Sisters, Haille and Taylor Johnson, were more than happy to have their picture taken with an armload of newborn lambs last Saturday when they made a stop at the feed store in Barriere. The two black lambs, about 24 hours old, are Haille’s 4-H projects and will be ‘bottle babies’ under her care.
The blond lamb in the front of the picture is also a bottle baby.
The young sheep have already been named, Aladdin, Rajjah and Aurora, and it looks like the Johnson sisters will be more than busy over the next few months raising up their young charges in time for fall 4-H competitions.
